Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in the United States is an actor as well as a writer, producer, and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were only some of her film roles. Bello appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) as well as other prominent roles like Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science Bello was a student in political science at Villanova University. After graduation, Bello honed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. In November 2013, Bello wrote about her first-partner Clare Munn's same-sex relationship. She released a book entitled Whatever...Love Is a Love: Examining the labels We Give Ourselves. (Dey Street Books. April 28 in 2015).
